One of the few, the proud and yes a United States Marine, Dennis Scott is also my N.A.U.I. dive instructor. As he has shown me the ice cold (39 degree) depths of some very deep and cold quarries I just thought I would treat him to the 138 degree buses we work on. Out with the old, in with the new. This photo shows Dennis replacing another obsolete system that went under and left the customer w/o a source for parts and service. Most of these systems we find have lock boxes mounted under the seat. At the time that may have seemed a good idea, but after the kids find those wires at their feet the cables are pulled out the back of the case causing severe damage and often electrical shorts. Another problem is the kids kicking the lock box and thus the VCR. This affects image and recording problems. Add to the above problems, the need to grovel on your knees and invert your head to get access to the VCR to replace tapes.
